He hunted all types of game, but loved going after coons. He raised several coon dogs and even went as far as New York to pick one up. To his grandchildren, and most others, he was known as “Grumpy”. He was always picking on someone about something. Behind all the picking he was a man who was always there if you needed him, even when he was down and sick. He loved his family and his grandchildren very much.
