Charles "Charley" Anthony List

August 17, 1939 - January 26, 2022

Charles "Charley" Anthony List, of Centerville, died January 26, 2022, at the age of 82 years. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 17, 1939, to the late Frank List, Sr. and Janet Jacobs List. Mr. List is survived by his wife, Margaret List, step-children, Michael Thomas (Cathy) Riley and Harold Riley, Jr. both of Paducah, Kentucky, Rose Marie Armstrong of Lexington, Tennessee, and Larry Riley of Lyles. He is also survived by sister Gina List and brothers, Fred List, Pete List, and Frank List, Jr., 11 grandchildren, and special nephew, Joel (April) Wilkerson. In addition to his parents, Mr. List was preceded in death by his sister Suzanne Bixler and his brother Martin List. Charley, as he was known to everyone, was retired from the Hickman County EMS where he served many years as a well-respected servant to the people of Hickman County. Visitation with the List family will be Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Centerville beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Mr. List will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make a memorial donation, the family requests donations be made in Charley's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908, or at the office of McDonald Funeral Home.
