Mrs. Dorothy L Moon, of Hohenwald, TN, passed from this life on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, at the age of 72. Dorothy was born on February 20, 1949, to Horace and Elsie Hinson in Paducah, KY. She later married Mr. Billy Moon and they settled in Hohenwald. She worked at GENESCO and H.I.S. in Hohenwald before retiring and becoming a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Stacy (Tiffany) Moon-Hohenwald, TN, Garland Bud Moon-Hohenwald, TN, Sister, Donna (Paul) Conner-Hohenwald, TN, grandchildren, Cody Moon-Linden, TN, Casey Moon-Hohenwald, TN, Caleb Moon-Hohenwald, TN, and one great-grandchild, Ava Mae Moon. Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Hinson. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 16, from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. Graveside services will be held immediately following in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM with Glen Floyd officiating.
