James Floyd Powell was born January 17, 1954, to the late William Floyd Powell and Doris Jenkins Powell. and died January 23, 2022, at the age of 68 years. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his brothers William and Jacky Powell. In addition to his mother Doris, he is survived by his brothers Zane, Tandy, Stacy (Lesa), Barry Todd (Tina), and Travis(Celine) Powell and sister Sherry (Dennis) Tidwell. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Hickman County and a member of the Centerville Church of Christ.
