James William Roder Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James William Roder was born on January 19, 1933 in Centerville, Tennessee and passed away on December 8, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee. He was 88 years old. He is the son of the late Horace Gilbert Roder and Effie Mae Prince Roder. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles "Charlie" S. Roder. He was known affectionately as "Pops" to his family and JW to friends. He was an avid Outdoorsman who loved fishing on the Duck River, hunting, and working on the Farm. He is survived by his wife Shirley Sue Cagle Roder. Son James Keith Roder (Janice). Daughter Shelia Roder Prince (David). Grandchildren Brendan Prince, Courtney Kinchen (Wesley), and Leandra Caldwell (Jimmy). Great Grandchildren Brooks and Makayla. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones. The Family will be meeting at the McDonald funeral home in Centerville and departing at 1:30 PM if you would like to follow to the Gravesite. McDonald Funeral Home 102 West End Avenue Centerville, TN 37033 Directions to the Cagle Family Cemetery from the Square in Centerville, TN: Proceed straight through the square on Highway 100 and go out the back side of the square on highway 100. Right on Highway 50 West Left on Nickell Valley Take the first turn to the right on 458/Beaver Dam Creek. (Road seems to be unmarked) Cemetery will be located on the left side of the road. You will turn up a hill on a private paved road. There is a small green sign on the the right pointing to Cagle Cemetery.
