Kari Beth Pitts

Kari Beth Galey Pitts was born on Nov. 6, 1981, in Columbia, TN, and passed from this life on May 18, 2022 at the age of 40 in St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Her dad was the late Danny Galey, mother is Sherry Barber Galey, both of Centerville. Her sister is Holly Stewart, and her brother-in-law is Jeffrey Stewart of Columbia, TN. Kari is married to the love of her life and best friend, Eric Gordon Pitts of Centerville. Grandparents include the late Guy Barber, and Janet Barber of Centerville, the late Ralph and Emily Galey, of Greenfield, TN, also in-laws include the late Robert Pitts and Donna Pitts of Scotts Hill, TN, sister-in-law Tonya Jaggers and her husband Chad Jagger and nephew Jamison Garner. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles. She leaves behind her fur babies, Harley and Alvin. Kari was blessed with many friends, and she was a friend to many. She loved life and was always the life of the party. She loved purses, especially name brands. Her smile and quick humor will be greatly missed by many. Kari worked at Ascension St. Thomas Hickman Hospital as Patient Services Representative, she truly loved her job and her patients. Her family ask that instead of flowers donations be made to Ascension St. Thomas Hickman Hospital in her memory. Kari will be missed by many. Donations may be made through the funeral home.
