Margie Viola Olson was born July 30, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away March 23, 2020, at the age of 91 years. Mrs. Olson was preceded in death by her parents Hershel Criswell and Geneva Rainey Ballard, her husband Chester Olson, sister Joan Sullivan and brother Virgil Ballard. She is survived by her sons Phillip (Roberta) Anderson of Centerville, Gary Anderson of Nashville, daughter Deborah (Wade) Ward of Hendersonville, and her step-daughter Mary Louise Matthews of Franklin, Kentucky and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Olson is also survived by her sister Margaret Gossett of Nashville. For those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mrs. Olson, the family has suggested St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
