Mary Emma Green Webb was born on May 1, 1933, in Centerville, Tennessee, and spent most of her life living in Alaska. She passed away on November 2, 2021, in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was 88 years old. She was the daughter of the late James Starling Green and Mary Palestine Conner Green. She was also preceded in death by her 11 siblings Addie Davis, Jessie Dale, Lucy Rice, Edith Plunkett, Louise Shepard, Thelma Duncan, Robert Green, Joe Howard Green, Clifford Green, Fred Green, and Charles Green. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years J. Wallace Webb of Cookeville, Tennessee; daughter Charlotte M. Foley of Eagle River, Alaska; son J. Wallace Webb Jr. of Cookeville, Tennessee; son-in-law Brent D. Foley of Eagle River, Alaska; grandchildren Brent D. Foley Jr. and Angela M. Foley; great-grandchildren Mitch C. Foley, Quinton J. Foley, and Aidan B. Foley; Several nieces and nephews. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones. Mrs. Webb worked at Wholesome Bread Company, as a teacher's aid and as a seamstress at The Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska. She loved fishing in Alaska, playing Bingo, growing flowers, sewing, and cooking for family and friends. One of her family’s favorite dishes was her banana pudding. She was a devoted mother and wife. Mrs. Webb's family kindly request that all in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing.
