He is the son of Patricia McClain Smith and the late Ronald Eugene Smith Sr. He is survived by his mother; sisters Caressa Schade (Rodney) and Christy Smith; son, Zachary Smith; daughter, Alicia Smith; nephews, Tevin Smith, Rodney Schade Jr., and Nathan Schade; nieces, Leah Smith, Ivy Esmond, and Gabriella Schade.
