Willodean Elizabeth Weldon

September 24, 1928 - May 23, 2022

Willodean Elizabeth Rasbury Weldon (Dean) age 93 of Lusby Maryland passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022.  Willodean was born September 24, 1928, in Kutch Hollow, Wayne County Tennessee to Clyde and Marie Rasbury. She attended Martin Methodist Junior College and graduated from Tennessee Tech with a BS Degree in Education.  Dean taught elementary school in Wayne County Tennessee, Warrenton Virginia, and Prince George's County Maryland where she retired.  Dean was a member of the Maryland Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) sorority since April of 1960 where she was a Diamond sister.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her friends, gardening, china painting, ceramics, and cross-stitch. Dean was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  She is preceded by her husband Alton Weldon. Parents Clyde and Marie Rasbury. Siblings Jean Parsley, Ed Rasbury, Tom Rasbury, and Catherine Fancher.  She is survived by her children Steve and Cindy Weldon, Michael Weldon, Donald Weldon & Sonja Carroll, grandchildren Jessica Bunker, Angela Weldon, Kristen Wiley, Kaitlyn Weldon, Andrew Weldon, Ashley Donahoo, Jordan Paskowski, Travis Weldon, and Savannah Carroll.  Great-grandchildren Katie Stembridge, Salvatore Merone, Gabriel Rios, Isabella Rios, Delaney Donahoo, Declan Donahoo, Evelyn Donahoo, and Callan Paskowski. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 3 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 4 beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery.
