Charles Elliott Ambrose

Charles E. Ambrose, 72, passed away on August 29, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, music, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Charles was a proud father who loved his three daughters, Jennifer, Amy, and Shannon, more than words could ever express. His girls were a tremendous part of his life, and his love for them will continue to live on through the memories they shared. Charles had a special love for music, especially the oldies. Music brought him joy and memories, and there was always a song that could take him back to another time. Charles and lucky shared a bond that was truly special. Lucky was by his side through so much of life and was more that just a dog-he was Charles’s companion, protector, and best friend. Anyone who knew Charles knew just how much Lucky meant to him. And, truth be told, Charles may have loved Lucky just a little more that his girls-which they would probably agree with! Charles is survived by his beloved daughters, Jennifer, Amy, and Shannon; his grandchildren, Rat, Devin, Dylan (AKA Fatten Daddy), Brianna, Alisha, Michael B., Heather, Michael F., Christopher, Shelvie, Abbie, and Reghan; and a slew of great grandchildren who brought even more love and joy into his life. He is also survived by all of his brothers and sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelo and Amanda Ambrose; his siblings James, Joe, Suzie, Bill and Clayton Ambrose; and his late wife, Donna. Charles leaves behind much more than memories. He leaves behind a family who loved him, generations who will carry his name and stories forward, and countless moments that will be remembered for years to come. His absence will be felt in the quiet moments, at family gatherings, and every time an old favorite song comes on. But his memory will live on-in his daughters, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest peacefully, Charles. Your girls will love you forever. Your family will carry your memory with them always. And Lucky will forever be remembered as the faithful companion who never left your side. Until we meet again.
