Sharon Kay Bentley

Sharon Kay Bentley was born on August 2, 1959, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to the late Charles Nelson and Frances Pauline Thomas Godsey. She passed away surrounded by the love of those she cherished most, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering love for her family. Sharon is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, James "Ricky" Bentley; her daughters, Chassity (Levi) Gribbins, Patricia Ake, and Paige (Chad) Myatt; her treasured grandchildren, Tatum Gribbins, Levi Dalton Gribbins, Jonah Hobbs, Anna (Marc) Stone, and Malachi Dawson; and her precious great-grandchildren, Miley and Kiley Stone. She is also survived by five sisters, three brothers, and one very special member of the family; her beloved fur baby, Max, who never left her side. Above all else, Sharon was a homemaker. Her greatest joy and life's purpose was caring for her family. She poured her heart into raising her children and continued that same love and dedication with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her younger years, Sharon attended Nashville Barber College, where she learned skills that became a tradition she proudly continued for the next 31 years in taking care of Ricky's hair, a testament to her steadfast love and care for her husband. Later in life, Sharon discovered a passion for serving others while building something of her own. She established a successful cleaning service, where she became known not only for her strong work ethic and attention to detail, but also for the genuine care she showed her clients. She found great satisfaction in helping others by cleaning and organizing their homes, taking pride in making a difference in the lives of those she served throughout her community. Sharon's life was defined by selflessness, compassion, and unconditional love. Whether she was caring for her family, lending a helping hand to a neighbor, or making someone's day a little brighter through her smile, she gave of herself wholeheartedly. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the love she shared so freely will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched. Though her family grieves her absence, they find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind, and in knowing that the love she poured into each of them will remain forever. Sharon will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
